Going to see the Lexus from the last post on Sunday. Here’s something else I found:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Edit: hopefully I will get to see it sometime this weekend or next week. Going to see the LS On Sunday afternoon because my parents made me get the driving course from the ticket out of the way this Thursday.
Edit 2: he's texted back. Most likely going to see it sometime Saturday. It has 140k miles and he says the wiring most likely has been replaced since there's no fractures in the insulation. Woo!

$2700?
A long test drive would be in order. Like, really long. Yuugely long.
It looks really well kept so the bang for the buck is there.

Great deal, right? 3329 lbs and 220 hp, per Wikipedia. It looks great too. Going to try to set something up.

That HP to Weight made the Fox Mustang a legend. This is worth investigating.

For the E320 make sure the wiring harnesses have been redone cause in the early-mid 90s MB did a funny thing making bio-degradable wiring harnesses that could not withstand the test of time

Thanks for the tip, Nibby! I'll be sure to ask about that.

Was going to suggest that. Wiring harness is the first thing, deduct a lot of it hasn’t been done. Also look out for oil consumption/leaks and transmission function. Otherwise, maybe a nice car. Not too fond of the wheels, maybe from a late run W203 or C209 or something?

Holy shitballs yes. I’ve been looking at w124 wagons which led me to my post on the E91.

I'm quite excited.

Sure... if they haven’t been done, don’t bother. It’s really expensive.

The LS is priced about $700 high for that condition, but is the superior choice. I have a ‘97 and it is amazing. Go for it.

KBB says fair purchase price for an excellent 96 is $1939, but it seems like a good deal to me.
![]() 08/16/2016 at 00:15 |

KBB consistently prices $500-1200 below actual retail, at leat at this price range.
![]() 08/16/2016 at 00:16 |

Which, even then makes the car overpriced by at least $550
![]() 08/16/2016 at 00:18 |

It is overpriced, but KBB is very wrong. I’d offer $2900.
![]() 08/16/2016 at 00:26 |

I won't be making an offer yet. And even if I end up making one I have to sell the 4Runner first.

KBB is full of shit. 1300 will buy you a pile of trash
